That tuna contains high levels of mercury? Mercury is highly toxic to adults and has been linked to brain damage in unborn children. So despite the nutrititonal benefits of tuna, you shouldnt eat more than 2 tuna steaks, or 4 medium tins, each week especially if you are pregnant. However, dont avoid tuna completely as, eaten in moderation, is a great food.
